It's WRONG, so stop saying it.

I don't mean to attack our nation's brightest and best analysts and experts.  They are experts, and they know a great deal more than I do about a great many things.

But if there's one thing that I find absolutely unpalatable, it's acceptance of memes and narratives that are verifiably untrue.

I compare Kremlin propaganda with some of the material I see coming out of the Washington think tanks and I know that something is amiss. But unless you're someone like Lydia Khalil, whose analysis of the PKK means she's either insane or an agent of influence, I'm not naming names.

I have said it once.  I will say it again.

The "sectarian warfare in the Middle East" narrative that has somehow become so popular is absolute BULLSHIT.
