The Unmistakable "Russian-ness" of JFK Conspiracy Theorists (WARNING: THIS MAY FREAK YOU OUT A LITTLE)

There's a pattern you may or may not have recognized.

It's a strange one, to be sure, but I assure you it exists. Let me show you what I mean...

Take Roger Stone, former senior advisor for Donald Trump's presidential campaign.  Stone wrote a book mired in JFK conspiracy, The Man Who Killed Kennedy: The Case of LBJ. The funny thing about Stone is that he's equal opportunity.  In other words, it doesn't really matter who's in office, Stone manages to find fault with them. That's ANOTHER pattern to be discussed in a future article--the pattern of going after any old administration that happens to occupy the White House, like these guys, who inexplicably seem to also always know EXACTLY which documents to go after...What are the odds?

Anyway, Stone and Paul Manafort, who works with him in D.C. lobbying firm, Black, Manafort, Stone and Kelly, acted as advisors to, ahem, "pro-Russian" Viktor Yanukovych.  Well, as Stone insisted in a recent Tweet to me, he backed Volodomyr Lytvyn (who backed Yanukovych) and Manafort advised Yanukovych.  So I "stood" corrected.

For some reason, when I brought up his friendship with fellow JFK conspiracy theorist Jesse Ventura, and tweeted THIS article, which talks about Ventura's and Oliver Stone's sons' getting a television show on RT (Russia Today),  he did this:

You can imagine how that just ruined my day.

Jesse, who really, REALLY seems to like conspiracy theories has published SEVERAL books on them, including one peddling JFK conspiracy theories called They Killed Our President: 63 Reasons to Believe There was a Conspiracy to Assassinate JFK.
(Get it? Like...1963? So clever...)

Of course, there's Oliver Stone, who even made a movie about a JFK conspiracy theory, relying upon the testimony of ANOTHER JFK conspiracy theorist, Jim Garrison.  Oliver Stone recently made the headlines with his apparent Putin hero worship and surprising position on the Russian annexation of Crimea.

Oh, and then there's Sid Blumenthal, referred to affectionately(?) by the White House as "The Grassy Knoll", due to his JFK conspiracy theory obsession. I don't suppose I need to tell you that Sid's son, Max, works at RT...?

No, REALLY.

Getting weirded-out yet?  Hold on...we're not through yet...

There's David Talbot, founder of Salon and author of The Devil's Chessboard, which blames Allen Dulles for the murder of JFK.  Aside from Salon's rather, um, Kremlinesque narrative arc and its strange way of mirroring this narrative arc with the likes of Huffington Post, Forbes, Rolling Stone, Alternet, Mother Jones, Adbusters, etc., Talbot seems to have rather a fascination with Glenn Greenwald and Ed Snowden, and will sit down to warn an audience about the dangers of American imperialism.  Of course, Salon offers us the opportunity to explore untold history, with Oliver Stone and David Talbot.  I'll be covering Salon quite a bit more in future articles.

LOL...are you beginning to see how it works?

Of course, what history of JFK conspiracy theory trolldom would be complete without mentioning Mark Lane, the father of the JFK conspiracy theory.  Lane began his conspiracy theorizing a mere four weeks after JFK was shot, publishing an article in The Guardian (remember them?), then called the National Guardian, that questioned the statements and facts of the event.  Lane has, to date, published three conspiracy-ridden books on the JFK assassination.  In Vasili Mitrokhin's 1999 book, The Sword and the Shield, the former KGB officer described how the U.S.S.R. secretly financed the cost of Lane's research and travel through an intermediary, without Lane's knowledge.  So, yeah...I'd call that another "Russianism".

So there you have it.  Yeah, it's weird.  But I find it difficult to see this phenomenon as a fantastic coincidence.

Besides...I know better.  Keep reading, I'll explain more.

THE SANDERS CAMPAIGN IS LYING TO THEIR OWN CONSTITUENCY!

The other day, a friend shared the details of a conversation he had with a group of millennials, all currently college students at a prominent northeastern university.  What stood out in my mind was two things:

1) They relied upon RT (Russia Today, Multimedia arm of RIA Novosti) as a legitimate source for "honest" news coverage

2) They were all supportive of Bernie Sanders' Presidential run

Of course I wasn't shocked that, as watchers of RT, they support Bernie Sanders, as I have already noted RT's advocacy for Bernie Sanders.  But I was shocked that they somehow thought RT could in any way be considered reliable, since it is no secret that RT is Russian state media.

However, this mystery was solved for me this evening in an interaction I had with the Bernie campaign, themselves, on Twitter.  Here's how it went:

It all started with a comment made by a Twitterer using the moniker "stop", who's apparently an avid Bernie Sanders supporter...

"stop" is 1/2 right.  Putin DID essentially endorse Trump, as I pointed out the other day.  But here's the problem...

The Russians are NOT Communists, as I have pointed out before.  The Russians are NEOFASCISTS. Here is the man behind Russia's foreign policy, Aleksandr Dugin...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aleksandr_Dugin

I encourage you to consider the similarities between the flag of Dugin's National Bolshevism and that of another flag you may remember:

National Bolshevism:

The "other" flag:

Incidentally, I didn't just come up with this idea on my own...

Honestly, it's become pretty common knowledge that the Russians are governed by Fascists.

So, I tried to educate a little:

Yeah, I know, a little opinionated, but you tell me what Trump is, then.  And don't forget this one.

That didn't seem to convince people:

So I explained it a bit more:

But, oh boy, look what happened:

WHOA!!!

If you've ever watched RT, you know that they tend to focus on social issues that mostly interest the American political leftwing. So, if you only watched RT, but had no understanding of contemporary Russian politics, you could easily convince yourself that Russia is leftwing and not rightwing.

In fact, as the creators of America's "Occupy" movement, Russia even uses this angle to their advantage with regard to their OWN INTERNAL PROPAGANDA.

The Bernie Sanders campaign is DELIBERATELY leading their own constituency to believe that the Russians are leftists rather than ultra-ULTRA-rightwing Nationalists.

Do you know why I believe they're doing this?

BECAUSE EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE DOZENS OF TELEVISION SEGMENTS ON BERNIE SANDERS ON RT (RUSSIA TODAY) HAS BEEN AN ENDORSEMENT!!!

IS IT SINKING IN YET?

A few interesting facts about Steve Forbes, Forbes Magazine, Skadden Arps and Bridgegate

I don't really have time to write this article, and it's kind of a moot point now anyway, with regard to the 2016 elections, but I wanted to take a few minutes and just point out a few facts:

1) Pat Foye, Bridgate's email leaker and present Executive Director of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, is a former employee of Skadden Arps

2) Steve Forbes' son works at Skadden Arps

3) Skadden Arps has been listed by Forbes as "America's best Corporate Law firm every year since 2001"

4) Skadden Arps has a MASSIVE footprint in Russia, including a relationship with Gazprom.

5) Steve Forbes campaigned for Ron Paul in 1996.  Remember Paul?

6) Forbes magazine has, as noted by RT, awarded Vladimir Putin with their coveted "Most Powerful Man in the World" title, for the past three years running

7) Forbes has an odd way of never missing an opportunity to very subtlely mirror the narrative arc of "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion":

8) While Forbes and the Russian media often go head-to-head over Forbes' supposed anti-Russianism, Forbes posited that, should free elections take place in Ukraine, it would only be fair for Klitschko to run.  It turns out, corruption in Ukraine has gotten worse under Klitschkowho didn't even speak Ukrainian when he was elected, according to the Russians themselves.  The story advocating Klitschko's Presidential run, incidentally, was written by David Adesnik who, along with Steve Forbes, helped manage McCain's 2008 campaign--the one that paired McCain with Sarah Palin, aka serial disruptor of establishment Republican candidates (More on Sarah in future articles).  I once found an article from Pravda that tried to "dispel" the myth that Klitschko was somehow tied to the Russian mafia, but it appears to have been scrubbed.

9) Steve Forbes doesn't like Ashton Carter too much who, coincidentally, just happens to be the one man in the Obama administration who poses the greatest existential threat to Russia.  And, like every Russian I have ever met, HATES Hillary Clinton:

10) A mere Google search reveals that Skadden Arps appears to be the one-stop-shop for the Port Authority's legal representation

12) Steve Forbes advocates a flat-tax, which just happens to be the same tax system used in Russia

13) Steve Forbes endorses Donald Trump.  Imagine that...from Ron Paul to Donald Trump.

Just a few facts, as I said.

Update on Donald Trump: I TOLD YOU SO

Aside from the meaningless fluff and jibber-jabber in this article, note that Putin essentially endorsed Donald Trump today:

http://www.cnn.com/2015/12/17/politics/russia-putin-trump/

Let me just be the first to say...

I TOLD YOU SO.

http://www.russiarevealed.com/2015/12/donald-trumps-magnetism.html

http://www.russiarevealed.com/2015/12/update-donald-trumps-russian-ties-are.html

The reason I set up this website is to try to explain the unimaginable reality that Russian Active Measures REALLY HAVE GOTTEN THIS BAD.

We're running out of time, and it's so, SO much worse than just a handful of Presidential candidates.

The Greek Elections in Hindsight: Why I'm terrified, watching history repeat itself in America

You may have noticed a few odd things about European politics these days.  For that matter, you may have noticed some strange things in American politics.  I know I have.

The thing that I find MOST puzzling is how so few people seem to be able to divorce themselves from ideology long enough to understand that the rise of Paneurasian Nationalism in Europe is a phenomenon of Russian influence.  But even amongst those who manage to recognize this, often times even they seem to fail to understand that Russian active measures in the era of Vladislav Surkov means that Russia BACKS BOTH SIDES.  It's about seizing power amidst chaos.  You create a problem, exploit the problem and provide the solution, all while keeping everyone chasing their own tails.

Enter the Greek elections held in January of this year.

For those who understand the roots of Russian power and influence, it comes as little surprise that Russia was in close contact with Greece's far right.

But not too many people are aware that Russia was ALSO in close contact with Syriza.

Prior to the elections, members of Syriza and Golden Dawn attacked each other as "Communists" and "Fascists", while marginalizing the centrist candidates.  The result was that Greek centrists suffered the greatest losses.  One day after the elections, Syriza and Golden Dawn forged an "anti-austerity" pact.  People were confused and mystified, never quite understanding what had just happened.

For those who have been paying attention, Russia repeats its strategies, over and over and over again. Look no further than the MH-17 narrative that Russia continues to peddle, this time in Turkey, here through their, um, "affiliate", The Guardian...http://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/nov/26/russia-turkey-jet-mark-galeotti.  More on The Guardian, HERE.

I haven't completed my article on Bernie Sanders yet, so you'll have to settle for THIS for the moment.  But I can promise you that you won't be disappointed.

As for Trump, well, see for yourself, both HERE and HERE.

One could easily argue that America's centrist candidates are their own worst enemies.  That's a valid enough argument.  But, as so often is the case, there's more to the story.  Perhaps I can explain the cast of characters involved in "Bridgegate" at some point in the future, or detail the set of circumstances involved in the Clinton Foundation's sale of the Uranium mine to Russia.

Suffice it to say for now...not everything is always what it seems.

UPDATE ON LAST STORY (http://www.russiarevealed.com/2015/12/russian-active-measures-and-san.html)

Russian Active Measures in Egypt.

Same narrative arc, different day.

I mean, doesn't it seem strange that Egyptian television hosts talk about the San Bernardino shootings?

And this Egyptian television host is DEFINITELY pro-Russian.

Russian Active Measures and the San Bernardino Terrorism Case: Are the Feds paying attention yet?

You may have heard by now that Raheel Farook, the brother of "alleged" San Bernardino shooter, is seeking to adopt Syed's and Tashfeen's 6-month-old daughter.

What you may NOT have heard yet is the fact that Raheel Farook's wife, Tatiana Farook, née Gigliotti, is from Voronezh, Russia.

Here she is, in a picture from her Facebook page:

But it gets better.

The neighbor next door, Enrique Marquez, who I mistakenly mistook for someone else when I first saw this Facebook page pic, is married to Tatiana's sister, Mariya Chernykh.  He's the guy who purchased the firearms.

Enrique Marquez:

Hmmm...

My first impression when I saw Enrique's photograph (aside from a case of mistaken identity) was that the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" crowd were somehow involved...more "Trans-Jenner" agitprop, etc.  For a better understanding of what I'm driving at, from the perspective that nationality (as WELL as narrative arc) is extremely relevant when examining Russian Active Measures, study this.

It turns out that I may not have been too far off the mark, because there's another HUGE zinger here that, at least in my mind, makes this terrorist event in San Bernardino more "Russian" than "Islamic"...

RAHEEL FAROOK'S ATTORNEY, DAVID CHESLEY, IS A SANDY HOOK TRUTHER.

And, by the way, the source for the above link is The Daily Mail and, um, they have the same problem that The Guardian has.

If you understand Russian Active Measures as well as I do, you know that the Russians have obfuscated the details of the Sandy Hook massacre to such a degree now that it would be impossible to go back and try to use the Internet in order to make any sense out of it.

Yes folks...

Russia is involved in fomenting chaos in America, just like what we have seen in Ferguson, Missouri and Baltimore, Maryland.  But sometimes in even worse ways. And, honestly, you couldn't begin to understand the scale of it.

I hate being right, lately.  But here's a prediction that I hope our national security and law enforcement professionals take very careful note of...

These terrorist events will continue to increase in both frequency and scale, and Russia's fingerprints at the crime scene will become more and more apparent.

The Problem with Robert Malley: Narrative Arc and Mother Russia

If asked to generate a list of who I feel are the top ten individuals in America posing the greatest national security risk, Robert Malley would rank very close to the top of that list, perhaps right below Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders.

As the Obama administration's new National Security Council Senior Director for Iran, Iraq, Syria and the Gulf States (dang, that's a mouthful), he is now in a position to wield massive influence on America's Middle East foreign policy.  He has the power to build or destroy.

It's a shame that the administration didn't go with its first instincts in 2008, when they kicked Malley off their campaign team for having met with Hamas which, in case you weren't aware, remains on the U.S. State Department's list of designated terrorist organizations.

But let me REALLY tell you why he is such a colossal mistake for this role...

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out where Robert Malley's pro-Palestinian and, dare I say, thinly-veiled antisemitic views come from.

Malley is the son of Simon Malley, who worked as a foreign correspondent for the Egyptian newspaper Al Gomhuria (aka Nasser's mouthpiece) and Barbara Malley, an American who worked for the U.N. delegation of Algeria's National Liberation Front, the Pieds-Noirs counterpart of France's far right (think fascist and anti-Jewish) Front National.  Simon joined his wife's cause and, according to The Guardian (which I prefer to call "Putin's London Newspaper"), "made a key contribution to putting the National Liberation Front (FLN) on the world map..."

What's so remarkable about Mr. Malley is how he has remained under the radar for as long as he has.

Let's take a closer look at Robert Malley and the narrative arc of his work, state a few facts and compare it with Russian foreign policy.

1) The Front National is an ally of Russia

2) Malley is pro-Assad (Putin's buddy, remember?)

3) Malley celebrated the alignment of new Arab Spring regimes AGAINST the U.S. (in The Guardian again, no less), same as the Russians did.

4) Malley embraces the "blame Saudi Arabia" narrative that the Russians so eagerly embrace as well

5) Malley is a Hezbollah apologist, the organization whose operational structure is identical to that of North Korea's "Korean People's Army".  In fact, North Korea has even helped TRAIN HEZBOLLAH.  The North Koreans are Putin's BFFs in East Asia.

6) Malley criticized the Obama administration for not allowing Iran to acquire nuclear weapons and, instead, just containing them. Yes, Iran, Russia's satellite of the past 30 years.

7) Malley is pro-PLO.  It should be noted that Malley's father, while also a member of the Egyptian Communist party, was close friends with Arafat.  The PLO was created by Soviet Russia.

8) Malley is pro-Hamas.  Hamas is, again, a Russian intelligence front whose leader, Mahmoud Abbas, is a graduate and PhD recipient from Moscow's former "foreign agent of influence training academy", the Patrice Lumumba School, now known as People's Friendship University.

Anyway, I could go on and on here, but hopefully, you get the point.

Alparslan Çelik: I'm not so sure he is who we think he is

Thanks mostly to the Russian and Turkish press, the world met Alparslan Çelik the other day--the Turkmen Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) member who excitedly bragged of having sniped the parachuting Russian pilot of the downed SU-24.

But I'm just not buying it.  Oh, sure, he probably DID shoot the pilot.  I'm saying that, crazy as it sounds, it's not outside the realm of possibility that he was merely doing Russia's dirty work for them.  It hasn't quite sunken into the Beltway pundits' heads just how crazy Russia's leadership actually is.

Aside from the suspiciously over-the-top Russian (and Russian-influenced) media narrative, which reeks of the same, regurgitated agitprop as MH-17, it fits just all too nicely with Russia's foreign policy goals in the region.

In fact, the same can be said for the Metrojet airliner bombing and the bombing of the PKK demonstration before that.

What am I saying?  Am I saying that Russia potentially bombed their own commercial aircraft or their own Kurdish allies in Turkey?

Well, yeah.

I am beyond 100% convinced that ISIS is, with the help of Qatar, Dawood's D-Company and Iran, a creation of the Russian government (more on that in future articles), and it's not like there isn't an existing precedent for bombings like that.  It's a question of whether or not one understands Russia's goals in the region, or the Russian leadership themselves.  (More on Russia-ISIS in future articles)

Moreover, the "Grey Wolves" appear to have a history with the KGBIndeed, there are ties between a number of MHP politicians and Russia, it's not implausible that Russia could somehow be involved.  It would certainly serve Russia's interests.  And Russia's ever-deepening alliances with far right Nationalist groups in Europe and elsewhere is no secret.

Finally, knowing what I know about the Paris bombings, I think there could be support for the idea that Alparslan Çelik is in fact the opposite of what he seems.  After all, aren't the Grey Wolves involved in the Crimean Blockade?

More on the Paris bombings in future articles...

Port Scan From Russia with Love

While I'm working on my next article, I wanted to quickly share a little gem that has become just one of many odd, daily occurrences in my life, as of late.

In case you've never witnessed such a thing, this is what it looks like when Russian hackers port scan your computer...

What's Wrong with this Picture?

If the Russians are more or less Neofascists now (they kind of ARE) instead of Communists, why has Russia Today produced literally DOZENS of segments on Bernie Sanders, and EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM has been an endorsement?

Because maybe it has nothing to do with ideology.  Maybe once you're in, you're in FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE, even if the regime changes.

Just a few of RT's (Russia Today's) Bernie Sanders plugs:

What happens when I read Katrina vanden Heuvel's and Stephen F. Cohen's "Pro-Russian" articles

I have a LOT of activity on my computers.  I'm a Kremlin troll-buster...it goes with the territory.

So I wrote a little geolocation script that tells me who's logged on.

Anyway...

I was researching Stephen F. Cohen and Katrina vanden Heuvel who, um, may not be exactly what they seem, when I heard my laptop fan whirring again.  So I ran the script and looky-looky...

Russia: Ought to be self-explanatory

Dublin: I suspect this is the Sinn Fein crowd...friends of Gerry Addams and...Putin.  I've dealt with these provocateurs in the News comments before

Montreal:  Probably Putin's and Bernie Sanders' Quebecois secessionist crazies...the globalresearch.ca and VICE.com crowd

Russian Influence in the Media: How it Works

Some of you may be familiar with Rosie Gray, a reporter for Buzzfeed.  Indeed, I have used one of her articles as a source in previous articles, where she essentially tells us something that SHOULD already be painfully obvious.

For those of us familiar with Active Measures, the message couldn't be more obvious.

Referring to the aforementioned article, you have Oliver Stone, who has consistently regurgitated Kremlin talking points for decades, perhaps coincidently (if you believe that), including:
He has even taken a pro-Russian stance with regard to Russia's annexation of Crimea.  How interesting...Soviet apologist to pro-Russian.  Stone's views seem to correspond with and mirror Russia's foreign policy interests.  How odd, since Stone has always been a peddler of ideology.

This is one of the reasons I try to focus on the concept that ideology has little to do with it, as I've mentioned before, because it fools people into believing that Russia only backs individuals and organizations that reflect its own values and interests, regardless of the fact that Russia presently LOOKS PRETTY DAMN FASCIST.

I'm not going to even bother talking about Jesse Ventura.  He's written or co-written numerous books on conspiracy theories, including JFK conspiracy theories.  He's no different than Stone.

The point is, don't get caught up with ideology.  Russian Active Measures nowadays, particularly with the integration of Vladislav Surkov's "nonlinear warfare", means Russia is deeply influencing both sides.  Ideology ITSELF is the weapon and viewing the world ideologically causes us to do really, REALLY stupid things.

Rosie Gray, herself, is a marvelous case study in "Surkovism", both personally and as a part of a larger mechanism that appears to seize specific media narratives.

Rosie, who adorns her Twitter page with an image of Ron Paul (remember him?), seems to push an agenda with a narrative arc that is all too familiar.

On the one hand, Rosie clearly endorses the Front National, France's far-right Nationalist party, historically tied most closely to the Pieds Noirs (think Claude Rains in Casablanca), while on the other hand she publishes an article critical of RT (Russia Today).  Of course, as I have definitely taken note of, there's a strange pattern among certain mainstream media venues that seem to work almost in unison, while serving the interests of Russian foreign policy.  My intention is to detail all of this, ad nauseum, so that it is as clear to everyone else as it is to me.

I'm not certain just how knowledgeable western intelligence agencies are, with regard to Russia's involvement in Paneurasian Nationalist groups in Europe.  I can only share my own knowledge on the topic and the knowledge of a few others, which is significant.

But, again, and as I will continue to detail in future articles, Russia is influencing BOTH SIDES, as they did in the Greek elections, supporting both Golden Dawn and Syriza.  The two actually agreed to attack and marginalize the political centrists in Greece, as explained by another media venue that, ahem, we will discuss in later articles.  THIS IS SO IMPORTANT because it explains, FUNDAMENTALLY, the impact of Russia's Active Measures here in the United States, as well.

More to come...

UPDATE: Donald Trump's Russian Ties Are Now Right Out in the Open

It just keeps getting more and more blatant...

Once again, THE DONALD is looking particularly "bearish"...as in, Russian bear.

First off, there was Trump's guest appearance on The Alex Jones Show.

For those who are unfamiliar with Alex Jones, he's the Austin, Texas Paleoconservative and good friend of Ron and Rand Paul.  Yes, this Ron Paul.

Alex has become a *little* more discreet these days, after reformatting his website, Infowars, and no longer lists his sources on the frontpage, which more often than not consist of RT (Russia Today), Voice of Russia, Pravda, Izvestia or RIA Novosti.

For Kremlin troll busters, such as myself, we ALL know who and what Alex Jones is.  I would wager Donald Trump does as well.

But, on the off chance that Trump does not, the latest news kind of removes all doubt, or SHOULD, anyway.

It turns out that THE DONALD chose Felix Sater, convicted felon, as his senior advisor.

But it gets better.

Felix Sater is believed to be tied to the Mogilevich Organization, a Russian organized crime syndicate allegedly run by Semion Mogilevich.

Hmmm...

Not sure what more there is to say about Trump.  The only thing we DON'T have evidence of is whether or not Trump is fluent in Russian, or an actual audio and video recording of THE DONALD accepting cash from the Russian government.

But I DO think we need to talk about Bernie Sanders, as well.

Maybe in the next article.

And oh...if you haven't read my first article on THE DONALD, please check it out, over here.

Noam Chomsky and the Narrative Arc of Russian Disinformation

I don't know about you, but you couldn't pay ME enough money to send my children to MIT, if I thought they might have to sit in a classroom with Noam Chomsky.

It's not that I have a personal hatred for the man so much as I object to the narrative arc of his message which, perhaps out of sheer coincidence (if you choose to believe that), is so eerily similar to the narrative arc of RT (Russia Today), where he is so often a guest.

For those who aren't familiar with RT, they're a Russian state-funded television network whose content is aimed at foreign (outside of Russia) audiences.  They have been criticized for acting as a media propaganda arm of the Russian government and peddling conspiracy theories, anti-Americanism, anti-Israeli sentiment and antisemitism.

In highly condensed form, the top of the Kremlin disinformation binary tree is rooted in three pillars of anti-Americanism:
  1. America is racist
  2. America is imperialistic
  3. America is in decline
And, in truth, I was unable to find anything Chomsky has ever said or written that points to any of America's strengths.  Instead, Chomsky has tended to focus on such talking points as:
A Comparison...

Chomsky:
"The United States considers Hizbullah a terrorist organization, but the term terrorism is used by the great powers simply to refer to forms of violence of which they disapprove. So the U.S. was of course supporting the Israeli invasions and occupation of southern Lebanon. Hizbullah was instrumental in driving them out, so for that reason they are a terrorist organization."
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov:
"Some say Hezbollah is a terrorist organization. We maintain contacts and relations with them because we do not consider them a terrorist organization," Bogdanov was quoted as saying on Sunday."They have never committed any terrorist acts on Russian territory. Hezbollah was elected by people to the Lebanese parliament. There are cabinet members and ministers who are from Hezbollah in Lebanon. It's a legitimate socio-political force."
Chomsky:
"The Hamas is being… The demand on Hamas by the United States and the European Union and Israel… The demand is first that they recognize the State of Israel. Actually, that they recognize its right to exist. Well, Israel and the U.S. certainly don’t recognize the right of Palestine to exist, nor recognize any state of Palestine. In fact, they have been acting consistently to undermine any such possibility."
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov:
“The Americans consider Hamas a terrorist organization. But we don't agree, because they [represent] an integral part of Palestinian society,”
Chomsky:
"...There’s ample evidence that most of the population, at the lower end of the income spectrum, is effectively disenfranchised – their representatives pay no attention to their opinions. Moving up the income ladder, influence increases slowly, but it’s only at the very top that it has real impact. Plutocracy masquerading as formal democracy.”
Eric Draitser, RT, "America:
"Democracy is not a political system in the US, it is a product to be bought and sold – the armies of lobbyists, interest groups, and fundraisers are a testament to that. It is a concept to be pitched like a Hollywood script or a television commercial, only to be disseminated to the masses as if it were reality.
Democracy is America’s collective delusion. It is America’s dream of itself."
Finally, up until only very recently, Chomsky had an extreme aversion to referring to FARC as a drug cartel (connected with Russia),  preferring to characterize them as freedom fighters.

Anyway, I find it curious that SO MANY of Chomsky's diatribes and talking points are identical or nearly identical to those promulgated by RT and other Russian media venues (mouthpieces?), right down to Chomsky's positions on Israel, which sound like they were pulled straight from "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion"...the, ahem, FSB field manual, as it were.

Of course, if you read the New York Times article "On Bin Laden's Bookshelf", you heard about Osama Bin Laden's passion for Noam Chomsky.

But Chomsky is quite the defender of Bin Laden, which would have given Bin Laden the warm fuzzies.  As he explained to Amy Goodman of Democracy Now!...
"I was saying that I’ve written plenty of unpopular articles, and one of the most unpopular had to do with the murder, not killing, of Osama bin Laden. Osama bin Laden was a suspect.... In fact, personally, I don’t have any doubt that he was responsible [for 9/11], but my personal opinion is nothing that stands up in a court of law. You have to have evidence. You have to have a trial, a serious trial. And it was pretty clear that the U.S. government didn’t want that. He was captured, apprehended, by, you know, the most skilled masters of war—to use the Somali warlord’s expression—that exist in the world, 80 of them, I think. He was defenseless.... [I]t was a criminal—in my view, just total—a complete criminal act. No justification."
As it turns out, there's a goldmine of epiphanies to be found in the CIA's Bin Laden document dump that ties this all together, like Bin Laden's suspiciously cordial relations with Shi'ites in Iran and Syria or his apparent fondness for former President Saleh of Yemen.  But I really felt I had to explain Noam Chomsky, first.

Suffice it to say that Bin Laden wasn't the only notable to admire the writing of Noam Chomsky.  Hugo Chavez was also a fan.  I'm sure Chavez' involvement with Cuba, Russia and FARC is purely coincidental...right?

The "Spetsnaz State" (S.S.)

Let's look at some pretty pictures...

Russian Spetsnaz:

ISIS:

Russian Spetsnaz:

ISIS:

You see where I'm going with this, right?

As Marius Laurinavičius, Senior Analyst at the Eastern Europe Studies Center (EESC) in Vilnius, Lithuania points out,

"The fact that the famous Shamil Basayev, Ruslan Gelayev and some other Chechen terrorist commanders began their career not only fighting on the Russian side during the Georgian-Abkhaz war, but were directly trained  by the special forces of Russian military intelligence (GRU), was basically never even denied in Russia.  The traces of GRU agents were not a secret as well."

Indeed, the fourth image, above, shows a Chechen member of  ISIS, just prior to murdering a purported Russian FSB agent.

It bears mentioning that Spetsnaz is the most racially diverse unit of the Russian military...and probably the most batshit crazy as well.

Look, there's no caliphate.  There's only a "carteliphate".  Russia swapped out the old satellite model for a profit model.

ISIS is a drug cartel.

They chop people's heads off.  They set people on fire.  They're FOR PROFIT and baby, business is a' boomin'.   Kind of like Russia's buddies, the FARC, or the Mexican cartels, which have also been Russia's buddies for quite some time.

Are people "getting" it, yet?

Russian organized crime, not religion.  But, but, but...the airliner, the bombing of the Kurds  in Turkey or the Turkish MH-17 redux...???!!!

Wait...

Keep coming back.  I'll write more.
